‘Unfortunately, I had the luck to meet Jackson Pollock' Lee Krasner once said of her husband. Pollock remains immortalised as a genius, Krasner does not. Is genius a title reserved solely for men? Has anything changed? Wet defines what it is to be a female painter against the backdrop of the patriarchal art world. Drawing upon her personal diaries, internationally renowned artist Concha Vidal brings Jackson Pollock's relationship with the canvas, Lee Krasner and women at large to the stage. A scream, an exclamation mark that beings in the body. A question that demands an answer. Not a tribute.

A very well done play
